One of the most useful services dispensed here is helping with accommodation enquiries and making bookings. They hold a vast amount of information on every type of accommodation from basic camp sites to luxury hotels, and will make bookings on your behalf in response to an instruction by post, e-mail and ‘phone, or even while you stand in the office! Finding suitable places to eat can be difficult in a new area, never fear, yet more information can come your way, even to the extent of showing you sample menus for some of the eateries.
We sell tickets for local events such as the annual Science, Jazz, Music and Literary Festivals. We also sell tickets for local I.C.O.S. shows; Drama Club plays; Bicton Park public concerts; the Axevale Festival; Yeovilton Air Day - and many more events throughout the year. Yet other services offered include parking permits and RADAR keys. If you fancy hiring a beach hut, look no further, this can be arranged by the week or for the day.
As with any good T.I.C. there are always leaflets on local attractions available. Both the Budleigh Salterton Official Guide 2011 and "Where to Eat" guide are available from the TIC on request.
