The second Budleigh Literary Festival builds on the tremendous success of the first Festival by having the
Poet Laureate, Carol Ann Duffy appear with John Sampson.

We will also have Simon Brett, Hilary Mantel(Man Booker Prize Winner). Sir Christopher Meyer, Susan Hill, Hugh Williams, Anna Beer, Ian Mortimer,Jeremy Musson, Alex Wade and a host of other national writers. Events will also include a workshop forwriters on “Getting published” by Caroline Taggart.

There will be events for children of all ages.

Also local authors andpoets will have the opportunity to bring their work to the attention of the public in a most unusual way.
